Future of the Church / Church Meetings

On the 22nd January (see News) and the 26th February the service will be followed by church meeting.
The purpose of these meetings is to think about how we can organise the work of Trinity Camden in the future.
We are doing well at Trinity. Worship life feels quite stable. The building is in a much better shape than it was two years ago.
I feel we have now reached the point where we can start thinking about the future of the work at Trinity Camden as a church and as a community centre.
We know there are not many people to carry on with the work we are doing.
I have been quite aware of my own limitations as a non-stipendiary minister during the last two years.
I think it can very helpful to get some input from the outside to consider how the work at Trinity Camden could be organised in the future.

I have invited Anne Sardeson from Synod to give us some information about what other churches have done in similar situations.
She will take the service on 22nd January and lead a "thinking session" after the service.
